2015 was a very different kind of year for me. The main reason that it was different was because of my word. My word for this year was integrity. I thought I had integrity, God showed me that I did not have the integrity a Christian should have in her daily life.
However, I did have some surprises and some successes.
Surprises for 2015
Getting paid to complete and present webinars
Looking for another job as a teacher.
Not getting my blog up and going
Successes for 2015
Completed a non fiction course
Webinars
Joined two different writing group
Finish shed my specialist degree.
Getting a teaching job as as an AN teacher
Working with an online critique group.
Participated in writers group.
Attended in person writers get together on various subjects
Those are my surprises and successes for 2015. There may be more, maybe. This is year I will choose a different word; it will be discipline. It has the word line in the word. The work will help me “get right with God” and become a better steward of my gifts.
No Cats Allowed
(A Cat in the Stacks Mystery)

This is an Advanced Reading Copy given to me by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review of the book. I have also posted a copy of this review on the following sites: Goodread, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.
Summary of Book
The new library director, Elwyn Dillard, is a Yankee jerk who is on a mission to cut costs. He puts in a complaint on Melba and Charlie’s cat Diesel. However before anything comes of the complaint Elwyn is murdered. Charlie is asked to step in as a interim library director and begins to figure out what is going on in the quiet scholarly world in the library.
On the personal front, Charilie’s family is expanding both physically and numerically. No wonder the poor man has headaches and sore neck. Just hope that the practical pranks don’t kill him.
Bloggers Review
This series has been a lot of fun to read. I really want to be Charlie when I grow up and Diesel sounds like a wonderful cat. (And I don’t like cats.) The book just races along as stated in the summary, there is a lot going on in Charlie’s life. He has many supportive friends and boarders to help him figure everything out.
It is a wonderful book, I was very upset that I had to stop and start reading this book because of my personal schedule. However, it is a great read!

Bloggers Review
This series has been a lot of fun to read. I have watched how Jill has gone from living above her shop and working very hard. She also became the business liaison for the Mayor in order to earn a bit more money. Once she received her inheritance and her Aunt came into play, the business has taken off. Jill now has time to research the books that her shop sells and help solve murders, much to boyfriend dismay.
This book is better written then #5, but that doesn’t mean you should read them all. However, even if you haven’t read Ms. Cahoon’s entire series you won’t be lost. The book is stand alone, but it definitely makes you want to turn around and read threats of the series.
