This is an Advanced Reading Copy given to me by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review of the book. I have also posted a copy of this review on the following sites: Goodread, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.
Summary of Book
Jill Gardner, owner of Coffee, Books, and More, tried to buy a food truck in order to enhance her business. However, her friend’s (married) ex boyfriend bought it for him and his wife Kacey Austin. Well, Kacey’s gluten free dessert truck is up and running, but soon she is murdered. Jill’s best friend Sadie becomes the prime suspect. Jill steps in to help out and pretty soon there is more going on in this small town and it goes back years. . .

Bloggers Review
This series has been a lot of fun to read. I have watched how Jill has gone from living above her shop and working very hard. She also became the business liaison for the Mayor in order to earn a bit more money. Once she received her inheritance and her Aunt came into play, the business has taken off. Jill now has time to research the books that her shop sells and help solve murders, much to boyfriend dismay.

This book is better written then #5, but that doesn’t mean you should read them all. However, even if you haven’t read Ms. Cahoon’s entire series you won’t be lost. The book is stand alone, but it definitely makes you want to turn around and read threats of the series.
